This tutorial will help you change mouse cursor size on any computer with MATE desktop environment by the example Trisquel GNU/Linux. It is useful for many cases including among them teaching purpose on online streaming or live presentation using projector device and to help older people or those with vision issues.

1. Open MATE Control Center.

2. Open Appearance under Look And Feel section. 

3. Appearance Preferences window will show. 

4. Current theme will be shown as the selected one. On Trisquel, its name is Trisquel.

5. Click Customize > Customize Theme window will show. 

6. On this window, open Pointer tab.

7. Under Pointer tab, it will show several cursor theme choices and one is selected. On Trisquel, it is MATE.

8. Adjust the size of pointer by sliding the slider button at the bottom. To right means larger, to left means smaller. 

9. Cursor size adjusted.

10. Close all preferences windows. Done.

This tutorial will help you update your LibreOffice to version 7.6 on your computer powered by Trisquel 11 GNU/Linux. It is exciting that now big software projects are using GitLab for their own development. Debian, the universal operating system, and KDE, the best computer user interface plus applications compilation, and also Trisquel, the completely free software computer OS are among them. You can click those mentioned links to get involved in the software developments. It is certainly a good news as it is good example for the other projects in sovereignty of the infrastructure (borrowing Trisquel's terms). I made this article after the Rocky Linux's one as I just realized how important it is. However, as an addition it is also good if there is a project maintains their own Gitea (instead of GitLab) infrastructure as both are certainly libre software. I wish the best for them all!

Trisquel is a fully free computer operating system while Jami is a complete cross platform communication app. Following the release of the latest OS version 9 codenamed Etiona, and the latest version of the communication app codenamed Together, now I want to explain my experiments with Jami by using my laptop and phone altogether. The results are it works with calls, for both usual audio and also video; can do two ways of share screen; text chats and file sharing also works, with some important notes. Suddenly I cannot run my web browser on my computer. It is GNU IceCat on Trisquel operating system. More precisely, other applications seem to be worked normally but only this one failed to function and got some strange error. This issue can happen on other distros as well. Here is my report on this experience along with the solution and some references. I hope this report will be useful for GNU/Linux users everywhere.
