Continuing similar issue fixing for KDE, it is now apparent that LibreOffice looks also "ugly" on Deepin 20 and later. This means its visual appears ancient unlike what users expect and look unmatched with the Deepin desktop themes. To solve this issue, follow these instructions.

I tried to make this article to help everybody find a desktop choice among Deepin, Mint, and Elementary operating systems. I select them because they are solely focused on desktop and have developed their own user interface. They are all GNU/Linux systems from Debian family, but with several distinctions you may love to see. For example, they differ on their own file managers, user interface layouts and built-in apps and several more things.

You will also find which one still supports 32-bit PC nowadays, which one supports Flatpak by default, and more. Finally, I wish you can empower your PC and laptop with one of them. Enjoy!

deepin 15.4 has been released on April 19th 2017. This review reveals the visual aspects of this beautiful GNU/Linux operating system. deepin is a very visual desktop OS where everything is accessible via GUI, and in 15.4 release it gets incredibly more user-friendly. The desktop and all native applications are very pretty, being unique with its own concepts, with simplicity on every layout. You will not find a desktop like this, not in MacOS, not in Windows, not even in Ubuntu, but only in Wuhan's developed system: deepin. This review talks less on technical but more on visual appearance. I make this so all new users can see what's wonderful about deepin.

If you are using deepin GNU/Linux 15.4, the latest dde-file-manager 1.4 has already available in unstable repo. In case you want to upgrade only Deepin File Manager (e.g. not whole system), make sure your unstable repo is enabled, and do:

Get the latest repo "maps":
$ sudo apt-get update

See if 1.4 is available for you:
$ apt-cache policy deepin-file-manager

Then upgrade it:
$ sudo apt-get install deepin-file-manager
Now you can run it, see the version number from the "About" menu or command line deepin-file-manager --version . In my system (fresh deepin 15.4) this upgrade downloads around 3.5MB data for 8 packages.
