After a surprising news that the development of Ubuntu Tweak was stopped, "Tualatrix Chou" made a new decision that he will continue the development of Ubuntu Tweak. As the result of his decision, Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.1 has been released with many changes for Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal supports plus a new feature "Love Wallpaper HD" which was added by accident :)

What "by accident" means?
And one more thing: Love Wallpaper HD, this is made by Kevin and me and added by accident. I plan to add this feature in the future. But when packing for 0.8.1 I forgot to disable it. Anyway it still works, and you can choose the wallpaper you want by double clicking on it.
So it can be used but you might encounter some bugs when using it (not all wallpapers work for me).

Below are changes that come with Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.1:
  • Add Disable "Show Desktop" in the switcher (12.10 only)
  • Add the Apps shortcut to Unity launcher icon
  • QuickLists Editor support 12.10 and reordering the unity items
  • Add installation status in app view
  • Disable the Window tweaks for 12.10
  • Add cookie and cache (12.10 only) support for Apps

Install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.1 on Ubuntu
If you have added Ubuntu Tweak PPA, you should have the latest version when running system update. But, if you haven't added it yet, simply execute the following command to install it:
  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
Regards :)
