Pinta is a free/libre open source photo editor similar to Paint.net developed using .Net Framework and licensed under MIT. This tutorial will help you to install Pinta on Ubuntu even though it is not available on the official repository anymore since long ago. Today Pinta is available on Ubuntu thanks to Snapcraft. Now let's do it.

1. Run Ubuntu Software Center. 

2. Search and find Pinta.

3. Click Install button to the top and wait.

4. If steps above failed, run Terminal and type Enter after writing command below:

$ sudo snap install pinta

5. Run Pinta on the applications menu. Done.
